DECKING DESIGN & INSTALLATION

Timber and composite decks designed and built for backyards, front entries and covered outdoor areas.

New timber-look backyard deck with matching fence and lawn

Decks Built for the Way You Live Outdoors

A well-built deck extends your living space outdoors. We design around how you’ll use it, whether that’s outdoor dining, a step-down from the house or a level area under a covered patio, and build it on a solid, properly fixed subframe.

Care & Maintenance

Timber decks need regular cleaning and periodic re-oiling or re-coating to protect the surface. Composite decks mainly need occasional cleaning with soapy water. Keep gaps between boards clear of leaves and dirt so water can drain.

Pricing Factors & Timeframes

Every decking project is quoted individually after a site visit, so your quote reflects your site and the options you choose.

What Affects the Price

  • Deck size and height off the ground
  • Choice of timber or composite boards
  • Site access and ground conditions
  • Number of steps, levels and built-in features
  • Removal of an existing deck or structure

Expected Timeframe

Most residential decks take from a few days to a couple of weeks to build, depending on size, height, material availability and the weather. We’ll confirm the schedule in your quote.

Decking FAQs

Answers to common questions. If yours isn’t covered here, ask us when you enquire.

Should I choose timber or composite?

Timber offers a natural look and can be re-coated over time. Composite needs less ongoing maintenance. We’ll explain the trade-offs for your space and budget.

Can you build a deck under my existing patio roof?

Yes. We regularly build decks under existing pergolas and covered areas.

Do I need council approval for a deck?

It depends on the deck’s size, height and location on your block. Check with your local council or the NSW Planning Portal, and we can talk through the details during the site visit.
