Turf & Garden Beds

This backyard project added new timber beds along the boundary fence to frame the lawn and create space for planting. The photos and videos follow the work as the timber beds were built along the fence line, filled and planted, and then shown in the finished yard alongside the lawn and paving.

Raised timber beds are a practical way to add planting to a backyard without losing lawn area. They define the edges of the space, keep soil contained and give plants a better start than the existing ground in many new estates.
